  1. Turkey Trot

    November 27, 8:00 AM @ Franklin Loebe Center

    Pre-registration required. Feel the burn before you sit down for the Thanksgiving feast! This 2.5 mile chip timed cross country race is run through the streets, paths and woods of Orland Park. Awards to the top overall male & female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in each age group and gender. Pre-registration is required and limited to 800 so register early! All participants receive a long sleeved T-shirt and are eligible for post race raffle prizes. Please indicate T-shirt size on registration form. BIRTHDATES MUST BE LISTED ON REGISTRATION FORM. Pre-race packets are available from November 21 - 25 at the Human Race, 15148 S. LaGrange Road. Register Early...This race has sold out three consecutive years by October 31. REGISTRATION DEADLINE: November 21 or when filled to capacity, whichever occurs first. Those 18 years and older must sign their own registration form. No day of race registration will be accepted! This event is non-refundable.

  2. Holiday Festival & Mayor's Tree Lighting Ceremony

    November 30, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Orland Park Civic Center

    Kick-off the holiday season at the annual winter holiday festival. The afternoon activities include: arrival & visit with Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides, face painting, make & take crafts, live entertainment, and concessions. The Mayor’s official tree lighting will take place at 5:45 PM in front of the Village Hall. Be sure to bring your camera to capture a photo with Santa.
