The watermain replacement continues in the Orland Hills Gardens subdivision. This week the contractor is proceeding with water main installation in the area north of 151st Street on Hale Drive.

The installation of water main on Jefferson Avenue south of 143rd Street continues this week. The construction crew will begin the installation of the water main for 144th Place, Ravinia Court and Ravinia Lane. During the construction of the water main, no parking will be permitted between 7 am and 5 pm to allow ample area for the construction equipment and installation of the water main.

There is also a construction crew making the water service connections along Hilltop Drive and Hilltop Court. During the time they are making the water connection to the new main you will not have water.

The installation of the new water main has left the area with piles of dirt. Over the next few weeks the rain will settle these disturbed areas a little. Beginning in May, the contractor will perform restoration and landscaping.
