1. Where is the Office of Special Services?

The Office of Special Services is now part of the Village Clerk's Office located on the main level of the Frederick T. Owens Village Hall at 14700 Ravinia Avenue, Orland Park, IL 60462. Phone: (708) 403-6150 or (708) 403-6188 and Fax (708) 403-6153.

2. What are the hours of Special Services?

The Office of Special Services is open the same as the Village Clerk's Office Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

3. What is an Emergency Medical ID Bracelet?

The Emergency Medical ID Bracelets carry a coded identification that is linked to a field reporting system. Personal information including name, address, phone number, medical information, emergency contacts and picture are stored in the Police Department computers. 9. How can I obtain a certified copy of my birth certificate?

If you were born in Cook County you can go to either the Bridgeview or Markham Courthouse.

11. Where can I receive help for my utility bills?

For many Illinois households, energy costs place a severe and continuing stress on the family's budget. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is designed to help eligible low-income households pay for winter energy services.
LIHEAP is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the state of Illinois. Energy assistance is provided by local community action agencies or not-for-profit agencies throughout the state. LIHEAP

12. Where can I dispose of old eyeglasses?

The Office of Special Services has a drop-off box for old eyeglasses. This is in conjunction with the Orland Park Lions Club.

13. What can I do with my old flag?

Flags can be dropped off in the main Village Hall, by the Cashier’s Window. They will be picked up and given to the Veterans in the George Brown Complex to be disposed of properly.
