1. When does my garbage or recycling bin get picked up?

General information regarding refuse and recycling collection can be found under E-Services in the Document Center / Public Works / Streets. There is a map of the Village color coded indicating Green and Gold recycling, the waste pick up day of the week and a calendar indicating the green and gold weeks.

2. Does the Village trim the parkway trees?

The adjacent property owner is responsible for the maintenance and trimming of the trees in the parkway. For further information see the explanation of responsibilities in the Parkway Tree Trimming section

3. How do I report a possible water main break?

If you notice a possible water main leak or break during normal weekly business hours (7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday) please call the Public Works Department at (708) 403-6350.

If the break occurs outside of the normal business hours, please contact the Orland Park Police Department at (708) 349-4111 to report the possible water main break.
