Lake Sedgewick
Lake Sedgewick is a 95-acre lake, which includes a boat ramp, boardwalk, outdoor amphitheater, gazebo, council ring, nature trails, and hiking paths.

Kayak on Lake SedgewickKayak & Pedal Boat Rentals
Kayak and pedal boat rentals are available on Fridays from noon - 7 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., May 24 to September 1, 2014. For additional information visit the boat rental page.

May 26 (Memorial Day) - 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
July 3 - 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
July 4 - 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
August 29 - 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
September 1 (Labor Day) - 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

  • Catch and release is encouraged.
  • A valid Illinois fishing license is required for anglers 16 years of age and older.
  • All state regulations apply.
  • Taking frogs, turtles, and mussels are prohibited.
  • There is a two pole limit.
  • Shoreline fishing is allowed only in designated areas.
  • Fishing is prohibited off of boat docks at the boat launch.
  • No seine or nets are allowed.
