Kayak & Pedal Boat Rentals

Boat rentals are available on Fridays from noon - 7 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Rentals are made through the Centennial Park Aquatic Center cashier's office.
  • All rentals are on a first come, first served basis.
  • Rental fees must be paid in advance.
  • A $20 cash deposit is required on all boat rentals.
  • All persons must wear a life jacket at all times when in the boat.
  • Use of life vests and paddles are included in the rental fees.
  • The renter must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver’s license or state ID to rent a watercraft.
  • All renters 18 years and up are required to sign a waiver. Those under the age of 18 must have a parent / guardian (18 years or older) sign a waiver on their behalf.  
  • All watercraft must be returned by 7 p.m. or the deposit will be forfeited.
  • Renters should return to the dock immediately for any of the following conditions:
    • Boat malfunction / equipment failure
    • Inclement weather is observed (rain, lightening, and thunder)
    • Lightening detectors at baseball fields or pool are heard - boat attendant sounds a horn

Pedal Boat Rental

Pedal BoatPedal Boat Regulations
  • Participants must be 14 or older to utilize a pedal boat without an adult.
  • Participants younger than 14, must be accompanied by at least one individual that is 16 years old.
  • All passengers must be in their own seat (cannot ride on another persons' lap).
  • Participants under the age of 16, must have a parent / guardian 18 years and up sign the liability waiver.
  • No one under the age of 5 years is permitted on a pedal boat.
  • Maximum of four persons per pedal boat.
  • There is a 1,000-pound combined maximum weight limit for pedal boats.

Kayak Regulations
  • Must be 12 years of age or older to operate a one person kayak, and at least 8 years old for a two person kayak.
  • Participants 12–15 years old using a one person kayak, must be accompanied by a person 16 or older in another kayak.
  • Participants under the age of 16, must have a parent / guardian 18 years and up sign the liability waiver.
  • Any person under the age of 12, must be accompanied by an individual 16 or older in a two person kayak.
  • No one under the age of 8 years may utilize a kayak.
  • There is a 250-pound maximum weight limit for kayaks.
