Thomas Kenealy has been a member of the Orland Park Police Department for more than 23 years. He has served in all divisions of the Department, with assignments as patrol officer, investigator, field supervisor, shift commander, and administrative supervisor.

Commander Kenealy also served as the Department's Firearms Training Coordinator for seven years and as a member of the Special Response Team for 15 years.

Commander Kenealy holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science Degree from Lewis University. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville’s Police Institute School of Staff and Command and resides in Orland Park with his wife and two children.
