Overview
Orland Park has received several grants and awards over the past few years including:
  • Chaddick Institute Award - The DePaul University Chaddick Award was given to Orland Park in recognition of its effective and innovative planning review process
  • $97,000 EPA 319 Grant To Improve a wetland in Centennial Park
  • $80,000 RTAP Grant for Multi-modal Transportation Plan for LaGrange Road
  • $464,000 CMAQ Grant for Pedestrian / Bike Overpass (141st & LaGrange) Project currently scheduled for 2010
  • $150,000 CDBG Grant to build expanded park adjacent to the new Police Station.  Project to be completed in Fall 2008
  • $6,634 ILHPA Grant for a Historic Building Survey
  • $175,000 IDNR Bike Path to connect the bike path Orland Crossing and Tinley Forest Preserve.  Planned to be completed in Spring of 2008
  • Multi-community Corridor Grant to improve the 159th Corridor
