Annual Budget
The Village of Orland Park's annual budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2013 and ending December 1, 2013 was approved by the Village Board of Trustees on December 3, 2012.

The village has submitted the budget document to Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award.

Budget Officer Act of the Illinois Compiled Statutes
The Village of Orland Park operates under the Budget Officer Act of the Illinois Compiled Statutes. This act requires that the village president and Board of Trustees adopt an annual budget prior to the beginning of each fiscal year.

The annual budget represents the financial plan of the village for the coming fiscal year and also serves as the village's financial policy document, operations guide, and communication device.

Distinguished Budget Presentation Award
Each year, the village submits its annual budget to the GFOA to be considered for the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award. This award has been presented to the village in past years and staff will make every effort to continue this tradition.
