The Village of Orland Park operates commuter parking lots at the 143rd, 153rd, and 179th Street Metra train stations. Daily parking is $1 payable at the automated commuter parking fare terminals located near each station.  Payments can be made in cash or by utilizing a Commuter Parking Card.  Click here for information on the automated commuter parking fare terminals and on obtaining an Commuter Parking Card. 

The Village is now offering commuters an additional method for paying daily parking fees at its three (3) commuter parking lots. Commuters can register on-line at www.parkmobile.com, download the mobile application onto their cellular phone and pay their daily parking fee each day using the mobile application on their phone. Once registered, commuters can also pay by calling Parkmobile at (877) 727-5004. The daily cost is $1.37 per transaction. When paying with Parkmobile, commuters will need to provide their space number and the zone number. The 143rd Street lot is zone 731, 153rd Street lot is zone 741, and 179th Street lot is zone 751.

Permitted parking spaces are limited and available only at the 153rd Street lot. Permitted parking is $25 per month and is non-refundable. Permits for the upcoming calendar year are for sale beginning December 1st, on a first-come, first-serve basis.   

To purchase a commuter parking permit, please complete a Commuter Parking Permit Application and submit it to the Finance Department Cashier’s Office, along with proper payment.

Renewal of permits can be completed through the mail or in person. Please note that the application requests vehicle information, including license plate number, so please have this information readily available. 

Please note that Orland Park residents must have a current Village vehicle sticker easily viewable on all vehicles (lower corner of passenger side window), registered in the applicant’s name and to the applicant’s address.
