Pace Dial-A-Ride

After a comprehensive cost analysis and due to budgetary constraints, the Village of Orland Park PACE Bus Service will be discontinued. The last day of service will be Friday, December 28, 2018. This announcement has also been posted in the village’s PACE buses. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We understand that many of the patrons of the Orland Park PACE Bus Service require transportation to and from medical appointments. Riders covered under a Medicare Supplement and/or Medicaid may want to contact their Medicare Supplement and/or Medicaid plan provider to inquire if transportation services to medical appointments are covered. Some of these plans may cover transportation services to a doctor’s appointment, a dental appointment, or a pharmacy after a doctor’s appointment.

Other transportation options that are available in the Orland Park area include PACE Fixed Route Buses as well as ADA Paratransit (only available to persons certified by the Regional Transportation Authority). More information is available about these services on the PACE website: www.pacebus.com or by calling 1.847.364.7223. Other possibilities include rideshare with Lyft (www.lyft.com) or Uber (www.uber.com).

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience the discontinuation of the village’s PACE Bus Service may cause. Any questions or concerns may be directed to Sarah Stasukewicz, Administrative Assistant to the Trustees, at (708) 873-1622.
