Additional Information

  • Failure to make payment on a water bill will result in water shut-off and a lien may be placed on the associated property.
  • The following information relates to discontinuation of water service due to non-payment of the water bill: 
    • In the event water service is scheduled for disconnection, a $75 fee will be charged.  
    • A second scheduled disconnection for the same account will require a $100 fee and a $100 deposit.
    • A third scheduled disconnection and any subsequent disconnections for the same account will require a $150 fee.
    • The Village requires that all fees related to discontinuation be paid in full prior to reconnection.
    • Penalty fees will be assessed at 8:00 am on shut-off day.
