Overview
Construction and improvement projects for residential and commercial properties require permits through the Development Services Department. 

Check out the "Build Orland" program.  Effective January 1, 2013 thru December 31, 2013 the program includes deferred payment of fees until occupancy for new residential projects!

The Building Division of the Development Services Department is responsible for reviewing and issuing all Fire Protection permits for properties within its jurisdiction. 

All contractors working in the Village of Orland Park are required to be licensed and bonded with the Village.  View a list of currently licensed contractors.

Building and Construction equipment use is restricted between the hours of 9:30 pm and 7:00 am.  See Village Code Title 6, Chapter 4, Section 6.4.2.4 for details.
