Overview
Construction and improvement projects for residential and commercial properties require permits through the Development Services Department.
Check out the "Build Orland" program. Effective March 15, 2010 thru December 31, 2010 the program includes fee reductions for commercial and new residential projects!
As of June 1, 2009, the Building Division of the Development Services Department became responsible for reviewing and issuing all Fire Protection permits for properties within its jurisdiction.
All contractors working in the Village of Orland Park are required to be licensed and bonded with the Village. View a list of currently licensed contractors.
Building and Construction equipment use is restricted between the hours of 9:30 pm and 7:00 am. See Village Code Title 6, Chapter 4, Section 6.4.2.4 for details.
