Transportation
Overview
The Village of Orland Park Recreation and Parks Department offers door-to-door transportation to residents of Orland Park for specific Special Recreation programs each season.

A list of these programs is provided each season in the recreation brochure. Our fleet of vehicles consists of three wheelchair accessible mini-buses and three passenger vans.

Policies and Procedures
  • Registration deadline for programs offering transportation is one week prior to the start date of said program
  • Persons registering for transportation can expect to be picked up within an hour prior to start time and dropped off within an hour of ending time of the program
  • All passengers must be seated with seat belts fastened. Wheelchairs must have working brakes and will be securely tied down and belted in vehicles
  • All walkways must be clear to provide a safe path for passengers entering and exiting vehicles
  • Drivers will not leave drop off points until passengers get in the house safely
  • There are two staff on each vehicle during route and program use.
