The Grinding Edge Skate Park is 25,000 square feet of concrete featuring:

  • Five ft. bowl
  • 6/8 ft. half pipe
  • Elliptical block/bank
  • Ramps
  • Rails
  • Native rock
  • Rail area
  • Challenging street plaza

The Skate Park is open to individuals with skateboards and in-line skates only.


Hours of Operation
April 1 - November 3
Daylight until dusk

Rules
  • Helmets are required for all skaters
  • Everyone 13 years of age and younger must also wear elbow, knee, and wrist pads.
  • Limited safety gear is available for rent at the Franklin Loebe Center (14650 S. Ravinia Ave.) during regular building hours.  

The park will close during inclement weather
