Sheds
Overview
Permit is required for installation of all sheds.

Permit fee is $60.

See copy of Shed Installation Rules & Requirements for complete details.

Needed to apply for permit:
  • Completed permit application
  • Recent legible copy of legal Plat of Survey, showing existing building and setbacks to lot lines
  • Contractor (If one is being used)
  • Cost of Shed
  • Shed Dimensions/Total square footage
  • Signed copy of Shed Installation Rules & Requirements

Maximum lot coverage is limited for each Zoning District. See the Village Land Development Code, Article 6, Part 2, District Regulations for complete information.

Inspections Required

Final Inspection upon completion of shed before materials can be stored in it. Please submit an inspection request.

Final Inspections are not taken over the phone.
