Sewer Repairs
Overview
Permits are required for all sewer repairs. 

Fee for permit is $145.00.

Needed to apply for permit:
Completed permit application
Name of Contractor (If one is being used)
Cost of work.

Inspections Required
Most sewer repairs are done on an emergency basis.  An inspection is required by the plumbing inspector upon completion of the work, but before site is backfilled. You can set up a same day inspection by sending an email inspection request or calling (708) 403-6225 or (708) 403-5300.  Regular inspection hours are between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm Monday - Friday.
