Residential Remodels
Overview
A permit is required for residential remodels.

Two sets of drawings showing the following are required:
  • Wall construction (lumber, spacing, drywall, etc.)
  • Layout showing location of existing walls & layout showing proposed wall changes
  • Identification of all rooms to be remodeled
  • Any proposed changes to electrical or plumbing fixtures

Permit Fees – Village Code, Title 5, Chapter 2


Inspections Required
  • Rough Inspections before drywall is installed.
  • Final Inspection upon completion of work.
