The Village of Orland Park was selected as the winner of the Development Process category for the 2007 Chaddick Development Awards for its effective and innovative planning review process.

Joseph A. Kearney, Program Manager at DePaul University, Chaddick Institute
for Metropolitan Development, stated in his letter announcing the award, “The selection committee was impressed with the energetic and unique approach to design review.” The award was presented at the village’s Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, October 15, 2007.
