The Mayor and Board of Trustees have made a commitment to the Village residents to improve the quality of the infrastructure in Orland Park.  One yearly program approved by the Board is the Neighborhood Roadway Improvement Program.  The Board also approves other programs such as cracksealing, sidewalk gap, watermain replacement and other infrastructure improvement programs. 

The Mayor and Trustees also pursue improvements to Federal, State and County roadways.  Improvements to roadways that the Village is pursuing with the State are the widening of LaGrange Road, widening of 143rd Street west of LaGrange Road, widening of 159th Street, and 143rd Street and LaGrange Road intersection improvements.

The Development Services Team and the Public Works Department have developed a 2013 Capital Improvements Program Map.  The map highlights a variety of projects that are either in design or construction.  This year the map highlights projects affecting Orland Park that are being completed by the Village, IDOT, Will County, Cook County, Forest Preserve District of Cook County, MWRD, and Oak Lawn.
