Storm Sewer Mapping Project
Work on this project began November 24, 2008.

Please contact the Public Works Department at 708-403-6350 with any questions.

GIS Enhancement
To enhance the village’s Geographical Information System (GIS), the Public Works Department has contracted with SpaceCo, Inc. in a multi-year project to locate storm sewer structures and piping throughout the village. Two person crews will be surveying using Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment. The crews will be wearing green vests and their vehicles will have a sign indicating they are an Orland Park Contractor.

Storm Structure Access
The crews will need access wherever storm structures exist. The village’s storm infrastructure resides in backyards, front yards, and roadways. Typically, the infrastructure consists of manholes, catch basins, inlets, pipes and outlets. If needed, your help will be appreciated in identifying or indicating the location of any of the structures on your property.

Surveying Schedule
Surveying crews will be collecting the stormwater information during the year when there is less foliage on the trees and the weather permits. The area the crews will be working in is south of 159th Street and between Will-Cook Road and LaGrange Road.
