As of June 1, 2009, the Building Division of the Development Services Department will assume the responsibility for the Plan Review process for all Fire Protection Permits for properties within the Village's juridisdiction serviced by the Orland Park Fire Protection District, the Mokena Fire Protection District, and the Palos Fire Protection District.  This includes all permits for:  Hood/Duct Systems; Fire Suppression; Hazardous Materials; Rack Systems; Sprinkler Systems; and, Fire Alarms.  Four (4) sets of plans are required for plan review.  The Building Division will continue to work closely with each Fire Protection District.  Inspections will be requested through the Building Division, but will be performed by the responsible Fire Protection District.  A minimum of 48 business hours notice is required for all Fire Inspections.
