Green Neighborhood Pilot Project - First Green Subdivision in Orland Park
 
The Village's goal is to develop a LEED Certified Neighborhood in Orland Park.  This subdivision would include green site plan design, engineering, and building requirements. The Village is willing to partner with a developer/builder.  Public participation may include:

  • Site Plan Design and Engineering;
  • Expedited Village review and approval;
  • Waiver of percentage of permitting fees;

The village is currently looking for a residential developer who is interested in pursuing a green neighborhood.   Please contact Karie Friling, Director of Development Services, at (708) 403-5300 if you are interested in participating in the pilot project.
