You can help firefighters and the Village by adopting a fire hydrant.  During the winter, snow should be cleared between the street and the fire hydrant.

In addition, landscaping should not be planted or installed between the street and the fire hydrant or around the fire hydrant.  Keep landscaping a minimum of five (5) feet from the fire hydrant. 

Adopt a fire hydrant near your home to ensure it is accessible at all times.
