The Development Services Department has code enforcement inspectors to enforce building code and property maintenance regulations throughout the Village.

For New Construction code issues on a residence that is less than five years old, please complete a New Construction complaint form. For other construction issues or for property maintenance complaints, please complete our standard Complaint Form.

Residents who need to consult a Building Inspector can call Development Services at (708) 403-5300 or to contact a Property Maintenance Inspector call (708) 403-6220.

Code Enforcement is also responsible for enforcing the new Crime Free Rental Housing Program.  Inspections will be made to assure that minimum standards for maintenance of residential properties are maintained.
