Incorrect Letters Sent to Municipal Electrical Aggregation Participants

Incorrect Letters Sent to Municipal Electrical Aggregation Participants
Posted on 03/16/2018

The Village of Orland Park has learned that Nordic Energy may have inadvertently sent residents the wrong letter regarding the opt-in or opt-out process for the new electric Municipal Aggregation Program.

Customers that are currently part of the Village of Orland Park Aggregation Program (Dynegy) or on ComEd's supply should have received an opt-out notice.

Regardless of the letter you received, if you are already participating in the aggregation program, you do not need to take action and will remain on the program. You only need to take action if you no longer want to be a part of the Aggregation Program.

Those customers that are with another supplier or on ComEd's hourly program should have received the Opt-In Notice. Nordic will not enroll your account unless you request to be enrolled in the program.

Nordic takes full responsibility for this error and will be sending new information to those customers who were impacted. If you have any questions regarding the notice you received from Nordic, please contact them at 1-866-614-6952 or via email at customerservice@nordicenergy-us.com.
