Update - Watermain Replacement Project - 94th Avenue
Posted on 03/06/2013

Installation of a new 12" water main will soon begin along 94th Avenue between the Shenandoah Meadows subdivision and Seton Place subdivision (north of 167th Street). The construction of the water main between the two subdivisions is expected to begin Friday, March 8, 2013 but may be delayed until the week of March 11. The water main will be installed using directional boring so as to minimally impact the area.

This new water main will create a much needed secondary feed to the Seton Place subdivision and provide a looped distribution of water to LaGrange Road area for better circulation.

The watermain replacement program is progressing in the Orland Hills Gardens subdivision. Preceeding the installation of the watermain, the contractor is tunneling under driveways that do not have conflicts. Watermain is being installed along 151st Street and will proceed south through the subdivision to 153rd Street.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will provide pertinent notices and signs to keep you abreast of our progress.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the construction, please call Mr. Bill Cunningham of the Village of Orland Park Public Works Department at 708/403-6350. Thank you.
