Applications for 2015/17 Village of Orland Park village vehicle stickers were mailed May 22, 2015 to residents who have previously purchased village stickers.

Any vehicle registered to an Orland Park address must display the current village sticker by June 30, 2015. Residents who do not receive applications in the mail may obtain blank forms on the village’s website at or at the Frederick T. Owens Village Hall, 14700 South Ravinia Avenue.

The 2015/17 Village of Orland Park vehicle sticker observes the village being a partner in the U.S. Department of Defense’s Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War.

This year’s Orland Park Lions Club Orland Days Parade will salute the veterans with this year’s grand marshal being Vietnam Veterans and their families. The Vietnam Moving Wall will return to the Orland Park Village Center October 1-4.

New village vehicle stickers must be affixed to the car windshield by midnight on June 30, 2015. The cost to purchase stickers after June 30 will double.

Completed sticker applications and payments may be mailed in the provided envelope or residents may buy stickers at the Cashier’s Office in the Village Hall at 14700 South Ravinia Avenue. The Cashier’s Office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on the first and third Monday of the month until 7 p.m.

Stickers purchased before the June 30 deadline are $30 for cars and motorcycles; $40 for RVs with trucks varying in cost from $30 to $130.

Senior citizens, age 65 or older, pay $10 per sticker, limit two per household. Residents who will turn 65 on or before June 30, 2017 qualify for the discounted senior rate. Late fees take effect July 1, 2015.

New residents must buy village stickers within 30 days of moving into the village. After 30 days, penalties are applied and the sticker cost doubles.

Residents and businesses purchasing new vehicles have 30 days to buy stickers for each vehicle. When a new vehicle is purchased, owners should remove the old sticker from the windshield and bring it in with the bill of sale to qualify for the one dollar transfer fee for new vehicles.

Questions may be directed to the village’s Finance Department at 708/403- 6170.
