The Village of Orland Park will host its free Concert On The Lawn at the Orland Park Village Center, 14700 South Ravinia, on Sunday, July 22, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The show features The Flat Cats, who play a range of vintage and modern music rooted in the hottest swinging jazz and blues, contemporary classics and timeless standards.

"The village is pleased to present The Flat Cats at its Concert On The Lawn," said Orland Park Mayor Dan McLaughlin. "We invite everyone to enjoy a summer evening with a talented group that's been entertaining throughout the Midwest for years," the mayor added.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and refreshments.

"This is a busy weekend in Orland Park," McLaughlin said. "We began the weekend with Friday morning's Farmers' Market. The Orland Park Theatre Troupe is performing its interactive murder mystery that includes hors d'oeuvres and desserts. The Chamber of Commerce is holding its Fine Art Fair at Orland Crossing on Saturday and Sunday. The village has The Flat Cats performing Sunday night and the Centennial Park Aquatic Center has been the place to be all summer," the mayor said, adding, "There's something for everyone this weekend."

The concert is sponsored by Central Credit Union of Illinois. For more information call the Village of Orland Park Recreation Department at 708/ 403- PARK.
