Autumn weather in Orland Park brings changing leaves, a drop in the temperature and the village's annual Fall Clean Up Campaign.

"The village has held its semi-annual clean up campaigns for several years," said Orland Park Mayor Dan McLaughlin. "Orland Park sponsors this in cooperation with Waste Management, giving residents have free access to dumpsters at the Public Works facility," the mayor explained.

Orland Park will hold its annual fall clean up October 25 through October 27. During the fall clean up, residents are invited to dispose of normal household refuse, as well as tires, in dumpsters placed at Public Works, 15655 South Ravinia Avenue. Hazardous materials, construction debris, clothing, and electronics are not accepted. All items must be placed inside of the dumpsters.

Access to the dumpsters will be available on Thursday, October 25 and Friday, October 26 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, October 27 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Further information is available by calling the village's Public Works Department at 708/403-6350.
