Family health will be the hot topic when the Village of Orland Park Sportsplex hosts its tenth annual Family Health Fair on Saturday, April 21 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The health fair is free and open to all ages and the village's Sportsplex is located at 11351 West 159th Street.

"The village's Sportsplex is the perfect setting for our Family Health Fair," said Orland Park Mayor Dan McLaughlin. "Our Recreation Department offers fitness related activities every day of the week and the health fair is a great way for all ages to learn more about personal health and fitness," the mayor said.

Activities include free aerobics classes, blood pressure and injury screenings, flexibility testing, nutrition counseling and more. Children are invited to enjoy the dino jump, face painting and health snacks.

"The village's Family Health Fair is a great way for everyone to learn more about staying healthy and practicing good habits," said village Fitness Manager Deborah Geghen. "We have different vendors on site with important information, free classes, screenings and activities for the kids," she added.
